Thalle Construction Co. Inc. ("Thalle") is seeking a Mechanical Foreman with Water and Wastewater experience. The Mechanical Foreman will report to the Superintendent and work closely with and support the operations team, interacting with various staff levels in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This position is located out of our office in Leonard, Texas.

Job Title: Mechanical Foreman

Salary: Competitive compensation package.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a mechanical crew on large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Ensure that all mechanical installations and maintenance activities proceed safely, efficiently, and according to project timelines.
• Plan, schedule, and assign manpower and equipment daily to meet project goals.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with crew members each day regarding work activities.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, materials, equipment providers, and all site personnel.
• Interface effectively with clients, inspectors, regulatory representatives, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate daily reports of jobsite activity and labor hours.
• Collaborate with the Project Engineer and Project Manager to review progress and adjust resources and schedules as needed.
• Monitor all job site activities, balancing crew assignments to meet project milestones on schedule and within budget.
• Work from contract documents, project plans, and specifications to create daily and weekly work plans.
• Uphold a culture of 100% safety, integrity, and professionalism on the jobsite.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5-10 years of field experience in mechanical work with a focus on water and wastewater projects.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret plan specifications and drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership experience with ability to give and receive instructions effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with office and field personnel.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing conditions.

Physical Requirements:

• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Work long shifts.
• Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.
• Must have good hand-eye coordination, quick reaction times.
• Able to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toed boots.
• Able to walk moderate distances to reach work area up to 1/2 mile.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
• Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment drug screen.
