The Mechanical Foreman will report to the Superintendent and work closely with and support the operations team, interacting with various staff levels in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This position is located out of our office in Leonard, Texas.

Job Title: Mechanical Foreman

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a mechanical crew on large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Ensure that all mechanical installations and maintenance activities proceed safely, efficiently, and according to project timelines.
- Plan, schedule, and assign manpower and equipment daily to meet project goals.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with crew members each day regarding work activities.
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, materials, equipment providers, and all site personnel.
- Interface effectively with clients, inspectors, regulatory representatives, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate daily reports of jobsite activity and labor hours.
- Collaborate with the Project Engineer and Project Manager to review progress and adjust resources and schedules as needed.
- Monitor all job site activities, balancing crew assignments to meet project milestones on schedule and within budget.
- Work from contract documents, project plans, and specifications to create daily and weekly work plans.
- Uphold a culture of 100% safety, integrity, and professionalism on the jobsite.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5-10 years of field experience in mechanical work with a focus on water and wastewater projects.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret plan specifications and drawings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership experience with ability to give and receive instructions effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with office and field personnel.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing conditions.
Physical Requirements:
- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Work long shifts.
- Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.
- Must have good hand-eye coordination, quick reaction times.
- Able to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toed boots.
- Able to walk moderate distances to reach work area up to 1/2 mile.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment drug screen.
