Journeyman Electrician** **Job Description** The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment throughout the campus, with a focus on troubleshooting rather than replacements. The work involves handling high voltage ranging from 240v to 480v, making experience in this area essential. Responsibilities include repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and related equipment. The Journeyman Electrician will frequently collaborate with the onsite Master Electrician. All necessary tools will be provided. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment across the campus. + Handle electrical work involving 240v-480v high voltage. + Repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and related equipment. + Collaborate frequently with the onsite Master Electrician. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in residential or industrial settings. + Must hold a Journeyman License. + Strong knowledge and skills in electrical trades and troubleshooting using circuit tracers and meters. + Experience with electrical, conduit, troubleshooting, wiring, and conduit bending. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Team player with leadership qualities. + Hands-on approach, not just overseeing apprentices. **Why Work Here?** Working here offers numerous perks, including the opportunity to work for one of the largest companies in the world. The position follows a Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm schedule, with on-call duties one week per month and opportunities for overtime. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Corpus Christi, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
