Assistant Superintendent
Job Description

As an Assistant Superintendent, you will support the Site Manager in scheduling and coordinating subcontractors, ensuring they arrive on-site as scheduled and their work is properly coordinated. You will provide feedback on the quality of work performed by trade contractors, assist in inspecting homes to ensure they meet established quality standards, and implement field changes and modifications as directed by the Site Manager. Additionally, you will communicate with the Customer Care Representative regarding homeowner care and maintenance issues and enforce safety protocols to ensure job site safety compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Site Manager in scheduling and coordinating subcontractors.
  • Ensure trade contractors arrive on-site as scheduled and their work is properly coordinated.
  • Provide feedback to the Site Manager on the quality of work performed by trade contractors.
  • Assist in inspecting homes to ensure they meet established quality standards.
  • Implement field changes and modifications as directed by the Site Manager.
  • Communicate with the Customer Care Representative regarding homeowner care and maintenance issues.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure job site safety compliance.
  • Oversee the implementation and upkeep of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan best practices.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of construction equipment and materials.
  • Keep all plans and specifications up to date and accessible.
  • Provide support to the Customer Care Representative as needed across various job functions.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in construction management and residential construction.
  • Ability to manage up to 20 homes at one time at different stages of construction.
  • Experience managing multiple crews/subcontractors simultaneously.
  • Quality control, building codes, and building inspection skills.
  • Proficiency in construction scheduling and subcontractor management.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and drawings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of residential new build experience.
  • Strong understanding of back end and residential finishes (punch list experience).
Work Environment

This position is onsite in a residential subdivision in Beaverton/Sherwood. Enjoy benefits such as a $500/month auto allowance, $100/month cell phone allowance, and a 15% bonus once a year. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/hr.
