HVAC Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to maintain and repair HVAC systems, including rooftop units (RTUs). This role involves conducting routine inspections, cleaning ducts and filters, refilling refrigerants, and optimizing system performance. You will also assist in installing new HVAC systems, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring proper connections. Additionally, you will perform boiler repairs as needed. Responsibilities Maintain and repair HVAC systems, including RTUs. Conduct routine inspections and clean ducts and filters. Refill refrigerants to optimize system performance. Assist in installing new HVAC systems and interpret blueprints. Ensure proper connections during installations. Perform boiler repairs as needed. Essential Skills 4+ years of HVAC experience. Knowledge of HVAC maintenance and repair. Experience with rooftop units and blueprint schematics. EPA Universal certification. Valid Driver's License. Work Environment Work in a dynamic environment from Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, with an on-call rotation. Join a diverse team including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experts within a facilities team of 45 members. Dress code is casual, emphasizing comfort and safety. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oneonta, New York. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.50/hr.
