Job Title: Civil Engineer Location: 30 N La Salle St, Suite 4200, Chicago, IL 60602 Duties: Perform advanced design tasks and drawings using computer-aided design (CADD) related to the development of transportation projects in Microstation & OpenRoads. Support preparation of final design plans, cost estimates and special provisions. Develop memorandums and other written technical documents. Determine client requirements and contributes to the development of scopes, schedules, and budgets. Manage design tasks and identify changes and risks. Salary $118,581.00 . Requirements: Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field, and three (3) years of experience as a Transportation Engineer, Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer, or related role. Research experience is acceptable. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience in lieu of a Master's and three (3) years of experience. Experience must include: Designed and implemented of advanced Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) solutions and complex geometric layouts for multi-stage roadway, interchange, and bridge reconstruction projects. Engineered comprehensive stormwater management and advanced drainage systems for major infrastructure projects. Conducted data analysis and quality assurance for large-scale pavement and infrastructure condition assessments. Developed and implemented structural designs for complex retaining walls, slope stability solutions, and other structural elements critical to transportation infrastructure near environmentally sensitive areas.
