A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to oversee the preconstruction phase of high-profile projects. This role involves estimating, budgeting, planning, and coordination to ensure that projects are set up for success from the outset.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of comprehensive project budgets and schedules, ensuring accurate and competitive cost estimates.
Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project scopes, plans, and pricing strategies.
Identify and evaluate project risks, offering solutions to mitigate potential issues before construction begins.
Prepare and submit competitive bids by analyzing project specifications, drawings, and proposals.
Qualifications:
Proven experience managing preconstruction for large-scale projects ($100M+).
Design-Build experience highly preferred.
Strong estimating and leadership skills.
Based in Madison or Janesville or willing to relocate.
