Data Center Traveling Construction Superintendent

Location: REMOTE Salary: $120,000.00 USD Annually - $170,000.00 USD Annually Description: Job Title: Traveling Superintendent Location: Candidate can be local to Kansas City (KC) or St. Louis (STL). If not, they must be able to take a direct flight to STL or KC. Preference is for mid-west candidates; west coast candidates are not preferred. Travel Requirements: If remote, travel will consist of 1-2 days bi-weekly to the construction site. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management OR an equivalent combination of technical training and experience. Minimum of 5 years commercial construction experience as a superintendent. Computer experience required. Essential management and communication skills. Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and ability to supervise large groups. Data Center construction experience required. Travel is required. Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. How You'll Contribute: As a Traveling Superintendent, you will help us reach our strategic growth goals by supervising all phases of the construction project. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and supervising on-site trade employee activities during all phases of the construction project. Ability to adhere to the project schedule. Effectively communicate with the project manager, architect, engineer, and other project team members to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule. Responsible for monitoring and enforcing safety program requirements and ensuring corrective measures are implemented. Maintain positive client relationships. Attend and/or conduct project status and other related meetings as required and/or requested by the project manager. Assist in estimating, review of subcontractor and material proposals, development of the master schedule. Assist in review of shop drawings for key materials and finalization of as-builts, turnover, and walkthroughs for equipment and material. Prepare all necessary and required closeout project documentation.
