Construction Superintendent

Location: REMOTE Salary: $125,000.00 USD Annually - $145,000.00 USD Annually Description: Job Title: Construction Superintendent Location: Remote with Travel (Midwest preferred) Job Type: Full-time About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our team. This full-time position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience as a superintendent, with strong computer, management, and communication skills. Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and the ability to supervise large groups is essential. Government and large project experience is preferred, and diverse project experience is important. Travel may be required. Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Responsibilities: Schedule, coordinate, and supervise on-site trade employee activities during all phases of the construction project. Adhere to the project schedule and ensure timely completion of tasks. Communicate effectively with the project manager, architect, engineer, and other project team members to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule. Monitor and enforce safety program requirements, implementing corrective measures as needed. Maintain positive client relationships. Attend and/or conduct project status and related meetings as required. Assist in estimating, reviewing subcontractor and material proposals, and developing the master schedule. Review shop drawings for key materials and finalize as-builts, turnover, and walk-throughs for equipment and materials. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience. Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience as a superintendent. Proficiency in computer applications. Strong management and communication skills. Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control. Ability to supervise large groups effectively. Government and large project experience preferred. Diverse project experience important. Willingness to travel. Valid Driver's License.
