Job Description
Citadel Roofing & Building Maintenance, a leading roofing company based in Port Coquitlam, is currently looking for outgoing individuals with strong work ethic, reliability and accountability to join our Sheet Metal division.
Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and replace metal roofing, flashing, cladding, rain screen systems, flashings and insulation safely and correctly on residential and commercial roofs.
Use power tools, and hand tools to cut, bend, shape, and finish sheet metal roofing, cladding panels, and flashing.
Complete site safety plans before each job
Ensure quality installation techniques are used and followed.
Set up scaffolding, guardrails, or other fall protection systems to provide a safe work environment.
Loading and unloading of materials
Work with large and small roofing crews in a teamwork environment.
Adhere to all job site safety requirements
Other duties as needed
Who we are looking for:
Previous experience with sheet metal installations, required
Previous experience with automated brake and shear
Team player who is reliable, dependable and accountable
Ability to work with ladders and comfortable with heights is a must.
Ability to lift up to 80lbs
Must be willing to work in all environments, including rain and sun.
A willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
Must be able to communicate in English
Red Seal Sheet Metal Worker Ticket or equivalent, considered an asset
First Aid Level 1, considered an asset
Drivers license not required but is an asset.
