Electrical Engineer
Job Description

Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems. This role requires providing technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The position offers specialized expertise in specific areas of electrical engineering and participation in advanced development projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design and development of electrical systems and components.
  • Ensure that designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
  • Plan test strategy to verify the performance of electrical systems.
  • Analyze test data and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Identify and rectify gaps in compliance requirements, influencing initial product concepts to pass regulatory standards.
  • Provide solutions to complex and ambiguous problems and incorporate feedback and solutions from others.
  • Guide IP strategy with projects and teams, leading efforts to create IP assets that drive innovation and market differentiation.
  • Collaborate with leadership and other cross-functional departments to align decisions with organizational goals.
  • Lead risk assessment, validate assessments, and engage with executives to communicate high-level risks.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Ensure that documentation complies with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Champion Six Sigma techniques and drive standardization through continuous process improvement.
  • Apply domain mastery to the application and advancement of engineering methods and tools.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards, lead quality improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in PCB design, preferably using Altium.
  • Experience with microcontrollers and circuit design.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry such as medical devices, automotive, or aerospace.
  • Experience with verification and testing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in EMI/EMC testing/design.
  • Bluetooth/Wi-Fi experience.
Work Environment

This position is based out of Versailles HQ located in Versailles, with an expectation to work in the office four days a week. The role is part of the new product development group focused on circuitry and PCB design, offering a chance to incorporate new technologies into designs and gain exposure to various cross-functional teams.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $72.00/hr.
