Construction Superintendent

Role Overview:

This is a seasonal position, you can use your winters off to travel, hunt, fish or for other activities you enjoy while your benefits continue year-round .

As a Construction Superintendent, you are responsible for managing multiple crews, plants, and subcontractors in the production and completion of a variety of Heavy Civil and Commercial concrete/ready mix, asphalt, dirt work, and excavation projects in the Grand Forks and Devils Lake areas. Direct the work of multiple projects, set production schedules, and monitor costs and progress.

Assure work is in conformity with federal and state standards, accepted principals of design and engineering, and available funds.

Compensation:

$85,000 - $95,000 Per Year, Seasonal

Minimum Qualifications:

As a successful Construction Superindentendt you will have:

- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction management, a related field OR equivalent experience

- A valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

- Ability to hold and maintain a driver's license with acceptable driving record

- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and some Saturdays.

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Proficiency in computer programs and construction technology

Preferred Qualifications:

-Previous Project Management Experience

-GIS/GPS Experience

-Knowledge and experience in managing subcontractors, plan reading, heavy civil construction projects
