Custom cabinet Project Manager

This key role in the company is tasked with all aspects of PROJECT LEADING high end custom cabinetry jobs large and small. This is primarily but not limited to the preproduction requirements of custom cabinetry jobs. Its central role is the measuring and drawings in CABINET VISION software (absolute 3 years minimum full-time experience required) and packaging them in their entirety for production.

This position reports directly to the CEO and interfaces with all employees, clients, architects, GC's and interior designers. Takes direction from the CEO where system development/implementation is needed.

The responsibilities of the Custom Cabinetry Project Lead position will include:

Maintain emails with vendor and clients
Follow protocol and establish sequencing systems
Help further develop throughput
Balance 3-5 jobs ranging in size plus ancillary small things
Drawing in Cabinet Vision (absolute 3 years minimum full-time experience required), Alpha cam, Sketch Up and Fusion 360
DISTO experience
Site visits
Measuring
Review Architects/Designers plans
Partake in Showroom visits and meetings
Review contracts
Check and recheck drawings for accuracy
Coordinate changes with clients and submit change orders thru CEO
Create shop drawing packets
File paperwork according to the office systems
Maintain vendor relations
Maintain documentation throughout the life of the projects
Meet with the foreman to transfer project details
Facilitate in pre-production meetings with production crew
Responsible for computer backup of laptop and cabinet vision files
The ideal candidate for the Custom Cabinetry Project Lead possesses the following skills:

Drawing in Cabinet Vision (absolute 3 years minimum full-time experience required)
Positive 'can do' attitude
Highly organized and tidy
Highly focused
Cabinet and/or woodworking experience
Versatile, adaptable, resourceful and shows initiative
Ability to work independently with little supervision and collaboratively
Good written, verbal and organizational skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
High attention to detail and proofreading skills
Ability to balance multiple projects
Has reliable transportation
Team player who interacts positively and professionally with coworkers
High level of diplomacy, discretion, and judgment
Excellent organizational and written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify alternative resolutions
HOURS: Full-time 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Part-time negotiable)
