Foreman Job Description Assist the Operations Manager in the daily project operations of the business. This role advises on facility operation and maintenance, coordinates staff, contractors, and vendors, and ensures compliance with all applicable permits. The position requires spending considerable time in the field facilitating projects and working closely with landowners, customer representatives, and engineers. You will visit project sites before, during, and after production to gather information and determine project feasibility. Additionally, you will help implement continuous improvement processes to enhance operational and maintenance strategies aimed at increasing cost-avoidance, maximizing revenue, increasing uptime, and decreasing response time. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the business projects. Advise on facility operation and maintenance. Coordinate staff, contractors, and vendors. Ensure compliance with all applicable permits. Facilitate projects in the field and work with landowners, customer representatives, and engineers. Visit project sites before, during, and after production to gather information and assess project feasibility. Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance operational and maintenance strategies. Perform other duties of a similar nature as required. Essential Skills Project management experience. Construction supervision skills. Experience with hand tools. 1+ year of experience as a crew lead, foreman, or superintendent. 1+ year of experience as a heavy equipment operator (e.g., end loader, skid loader, Ag tractor, dozer). Experience in commercial construction, carpentry, or as a general contractor. Construction management skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Demonstrated skill in assessing and determining the necessary resources to successfully accomplish work programs. Critical thinking and strategic planning skills, including long- and short-term goal setting. Experience applying project management and planning techniques. Ability to interpret technical information for non-technical audiences. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate a compelling vision. Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy. Skill in team building and working with others to achieve common goals. Valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Basic record-keeping and email skills. Background in construction, heavy equipment operating, or agriculture is preferred. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
