Assistant Project Manager - Construction

Key Responsibilities: Project Management Support: Assist in the comprehensive management of construction projects, ensuring successful execution within established timelines and budget constraints. Support on-site coordination, managing resources, subcontractors, and ensuring project milestones are met. Quality Control and Safety: Contribute to regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with safety regulations. Assist in the implementation and enforcement of job site safety protocols, fostering a culture of safety among project teams. Scheduling: Collaborate in the development and management of project schedules, coordinating tasks and resources to optimize efficiency. Support monitoring and adjustment of schedules as needed to address unforeseen challenges or changes in project scope. Blueprint Reading and Code Compliance: Support the ability to interpret and analyze construction blueprints. Contribute to the understanding of commercial construction codes and regulations. Customer Interaction: Assist as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, and providing regular project updates. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and ensure project outcomes align with expectations. Procore Expertise: Work with the project team to utilize Procore project management software for streamlined communication, document control, and project tracking. Qualifications: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in construction project management. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints. Knowledgeable in commercial construction codes and regulations. Experience within retail, restaurant, medical, and/or office construction is a plus. Familiarity with Procore project management software. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
