Our client, a leader in the mechanical engineering industry, is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to join their team. As a Mechanical Drafter, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various project teams. **Job Title:** Mechanical Drafter **Location:** Atlanta, GA (100% onsite) **Duration:** 12+ Months contract **What's the Job?** + Assist with determining proper corrective actions for damaged or worn equipment based on operational discussions. + Oversee the protection of physical assets and ensure facility maintenance and housekeeping for a safe environment. + Dispatch and inspect the work of outside service vendors to ensure quality and compliance. + Participate in environmental audits and provide compliance training with supervision. + Draft feasibility studies and assist with projects as needed by the management team. **What's Needed?** + Proficient with Autodesk or SolidWorks 2D and 3D Software. + Meticulous with the ability to distinguish between big picture concepts and detailed facts. + Project management experience with the ability to develop project plans and manage them to completion. + Excellent written, oral communications, and interpersonal skills. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, and Outlook). **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. + Gain hands-on experience in mechanical drafting and project management. + Engage in meaningful work that contributes to the efficiency and safety of operations. + Develop your skills with advanced drafting software and project management tools. + Be part of a team that values innovation and continuous improvement.
