Quartz Countertop Carpenter

As an experienced countertop carpenter with tools with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you'll support projects (schools, hospitals, multi-family, hotels, warehouses, etc.) in the Oklahoma City area (no per diem). Comfortable installing safety railings, platforms, safety guards, hole covers, wood blocking into walls, doors, cabinets. In this carpenter role, you'll enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule.

Pay Rate: $25 - $35/ HR

Responsibilities:

• Create and reference blueprints throughout a project
• Cut tile and countertops for ovens, stove, and backsplash
• Experience with quartz, granite, and marble
• Cut and shape various materials
• Ensure structures, framework and materials are up to code and undamaged
• Follow written and oral instruction given from the supervisor
• Ability to install countertops
• Display strong math skills for measuring, cutting, and installing materials with little to no errors

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of finish carpentry experience, specifically with quartz and countertops
• Must have tools to include diamond blade and suitable saw (circular or plunge saw)
• Reliable transportation Work well as a team or independently, as needed
• Be reliable and committed to finishing each project until the end with minimal absences
• Demonstrate good communication skills with employer and supervisor
• Have a positive and results driven attitude to work quickly and efficiently
• Ability to work in variable weather (cold, heat, windy, etc)
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
