Lead Carpenter

Pinewood Enterprises, Inc. is a locally owned and operated full-service General Contractor that has been established in the Lower Florida Keys for over 35 years. Our company has been involved in all phases of construction, both commercial and residential, new construction to renovations. We have been able to continue to be a leading provider to the Lower Keys community for construction needs by focusing on providing a quality finished product and keeping customer relations a top priority.

We are currently seeking to hire experienced lead carpenters. Pay will start between $25 and $40 depending on experience, tools, etc.

General:
- Must have own reliable transportation (Truck or full-sized van helpful)
- Must have at least a high school education.
- Able to work alone or with a small crew (2-4 people).
- At least three professional references

Lead Carpenter:
- At least 10 years of residential construction experience preferred
- Well-developed skills with all of the necessary tools and be able to produce high-quality framing and finish carpentry projects.
- Work to include framing, siding, deck building, installation of interior/exterior doors, windows, trim, cabinets and many other tasks related to residential construction and remodeling.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work alone or with a small crew (2-4 people).
- Must have good "people skills", and be able to communicate comfortably with homeowners, subcontractors, suppliers, as well as carpenters and laborers.
- Able to read and understand construction blueprints and plans.
- Must have at least personal carpentry hand and power tools and be experienced and comfortable with using job site table saws, chop saws, and other company equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
