Your Opportunity

Stantec's Energy practice has an opportunity for highly motivated Engineering Student Interns to join their team in Sacramento, California to work on hydropower projects. This is a great opportunity to work with industry leading professionals in your field of study.

Candidates should be highly motivated and dependable students who are taking or have taken applicable electrical engineering courses. Your Key Responsibilities

Provide electrical engineering support for a variety of projects and honing skills for coordinating major construction projects across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities will include drawing production (CAD drafting, sketches, etc.), design calculations, report preparation, product research and outreach, occasional site visits, and other various project-related tasks.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Excellent analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Self-motivated

• Basic understanding of CAD drafting software (i.e., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Inventor, and/or Revit), and MS Office software

Education and Experience

• Enrollment in an accredited Engineering program

• At least three years of college education

• At least a 3.0 GPA is preferred

Typical office environment working with computers and working at a desk for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):

Salary Range(s):

• $27.90 Per Hour - $33.48 Per Hour Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CA (SF Area includes SF, SJS & WLC)

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
