Senior Estimator Concrete, Waterproofing, Expansion Joints & Patching/Caulking
Seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join a leading provider of high-quality construction services, specializing in concrete, waterproofing, expansion joints, and patching/caulking. We are dedicated to delivering excellence in every project, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team.
As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects focused on concrete work, waterproofing, expansion joints, and patching caulking. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure all estimates are thorough and competitive, contributing to the overall success of the company. Previous concrete and waterproofing exposure is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for concrete, waterproofing, expansion joints, and patching caulking projects.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine the scope of work and required materials.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Research and source material, labor, and equipment costs to ensure estimates reflect current market conditions.
- Evaluate and analyze subcontractor bids to ensure alignment with project requirements and budgets.
- Prepare bid proposals, budgets, and schedules, ensuring all estimates are competitive and aligned with company goals.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations to provide insight and recommendations.
- Maintain detailed records of estimates, proposals, and project data for future reference and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating, with a strong focus on concrete, waterproofing, expansion joints, and patching caulking projects.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards related to concrete and waterproofing.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
