Company Description A distinguished subcontractor specializing in metal stud framing, insulation, drywall, taping, T-bar ceiling installation, millwork installation, door installation, and demolition. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Los Angeles Metropolitan area. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, preparing competitive bids, and assisting in cost analysis. The successful candidate will will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Clients, and Subcontractors to ensure estimates align with project objectives, and higher budget requirements. Assist in the preparation of precise cost estimates for commercial drywall, framing, T-bar ceiling, demolition, and tenant improvement (TI) projects. Analyze blueprints, project specifications, and documentation to determine project scope and requirements. Develop comprehensive proposals and bid packages in collaboration with project managers and clients. Perform material take-offs, labor cost assessments, and subcontractor pricing evaluations to formulate competitive estimates. Maintain and update cost databases to ensure accurate labor and material pricing. Assist in managing change orders and tracking budget adjustments throughout project execution. Utilize industry-standard software such as Procore, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office Suite for bid preparation and cost tracking. Support the estimating team by gathering and organizing essential project documentation. Qualifications Experience in construction estimating or cost analysis (preferred), or relevant coursework/training in construction management. Strong familiarity with drywall, metal stud framing, T-bar ceilings, and demolition scopes. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior estimators and project managers. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Procore, Bluebeam Revu, or other estimating software (preferred). Field construction experience, superintendent management experience, or a related background (preferred) OR equivalent industry experience.
