Position SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and results-driven Superintendent to lead complex ground-up construction projects across the Washington, DC area. This role is critical to ensuring the successful execution of high-value developments, maintaining our reputation for excellence in the commercial construction industry.
Key Responsibilities- Direct all phases of ground-up construction, from site mobilization through project closeout.
- Manage daily on-site operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and field teams to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
- Enforce rigorous safety and quality standards across all job sites.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align on project goals and progress.
- 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
- Proven track record managing ground-up construction, particularly in school or base-build projects.
- At least5 years of hands-on experience in large-scale commercial construction.
- Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management(AEC disciplines).
- Experience with multi-family residential and commercial base-build projects.
- Familiarity with DGS (Department of General Services)protocols and compliance standards.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
