A qualified Active Hands-On Foreman
Job Description:
Layout work
Measure, cut, or shape wood, metal, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials
Construct building frameworks, including wall studs, floor joists, and doorframes
Framing installation, repairs
Drywall installation, repairs
Ceiling installation, repairs, insulation
Shoring and wood framing
Trim, door hanging, hardware installation
Blocking
Sheathing
Work Environment:
Supportive upper management
Short-term, overnight, out of town travel (a possibility, based on project)
Results-oriented, team-based work ethic
Requirements:
Candidate MUST have 3-5 years Experience
Candidate will possess an Adapt and Overcome attitude
Candidate must have the desire and demonstrated aptitude in construction.
Candidate must be a detail-oriented, self-starter with a positive attitude
Candidate be an all-around team player
Candidate will be motivated to get every project done: On Time & Under Budget
Candidates must have a valid driver's license with good driving record
Candidate must follow through, exemplify initiative and be persistent
Exceptional Candidates:
Will know how to read and interpret blueprints
Will be technology savvy (Outlook, Word, Excel, and use of smart phones/tablets)
Will know their limits and ask for help rather than execute incorrectly the first time
Will possess proven Leadership skills
Will be able to supervise their assigned crews for the duration of the project
