A leading contractor on one of New York City's most high-profile public sector projects is seeking a Senior Scheduling Engineer to support scheduling operations for a major Manhattan-based public works project . This role is ideal for a seasoned construction scheduling professional with experience in MEP installations, vertical building projects and NYC public works. ???? Role Highlights: As a Senior Scheduler , you will report directly to the Scheduling Manager and collaborate with field teams, project managers, and consultants to develop, manage, and monitor schedules from pre-construction through close-out. You'll be at the center of planning and execution for a high-impact, multi-year project. ???? Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain project schedules (Primavera P6) across all phases Track progress, manage updates, and analyze schedule delays Conduct Pull Planning Sessions and schedule review meetings with stakeholders Create schedule fragments and Time Impact Analyses (TIA) Lead earned value management (EVM), cost/resource loading, and claims support Coordinate data integration across project logs (Change Orders, RFIs, Procurement, etc.) Support senior scheduling leadership with schedule reviews and reporting ???? Requirements: 10+ years of scheduling experience in construction Background in MEP installations Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Excel Strong communication and team coordination skills Demonstrated success working with general contractors (GCs) Project experience in NYC Metro public sector construction (buildings, infrastructure, water/wastewater, etc.) Ability to work from project site in Manhattan and/or commute to New Rochelle Proven longevity and consistency in previous roles ????
