Job Description:
Hays is working with a well established family-owned civil general contractor in New York City who is in need of a Field Engineer. This opportunityes with the ability to be mentored by a fantastic Superintendent and carve out a career for yourself. The contractor does work with the NYCDDC and ConEd mainly. They offerpetitive base salary, 401k, bonus, gas, tolls, and great insurance.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage construction activities on-site.
Ensure projects arepleted according to design specifications and standards.
Conduct site inspections and monitor progress.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors.
Resolve technical issues and provide solutions.
Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
Ensurepliance with safety regulations andpany policies.
Assist in project planning and scheduling.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or field engineering.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effectivemunication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
