Cabinet Fabricator
Our client is established as a leading design, print and fabrication house who specialize in large-format printing and dimensional displays.
SUMMARY
Looking for a skilled and detail-oriented woodworker to work with
fabrication team in producing high-end, custom retail displays for premium sports retailers.
PAY: up to $30/hr for well-qualified candidates
BENEFITS AFTER HIRE
Medical/Dental/Vision, FSA/HRA, 401k w/ Contribution, PTO
Cell Phone Reimbursement, Dog-Friendly Office, Public Transportation Compensation Program
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm
***Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
DUTIES:
Build custom wood-based retail 3D fixtures and displays from blueprints, shop drawings, and CAD files.
Safely operate power tools and woodworking equipment such as table saws, routers, etc.
Cut, assemble, and finish a variety of materials including plywood, MDF, solid wood, and composite panels.
Apply plastic laminates, veneers, and finishes to achieve high-end visual quality.
Collaborate with design, print, and graphics teams to integrate dimensional components, printed elements, lighting, and hardware.
Conduct quality checks and ensure accuracy in measurement, fit, and finish.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years of work history or combination of coursework and experience in woodworking and fabrication experience, ideally for the retail or exhibit industry.
Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting shop drawings and technical specs.
Minimum 1 year of recent work history in wood joinery, cabinetry, and fixture assembly.
6 months of work experience with laminate application, finishing, and edge detailing.
Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
