Job Description



A Construction Project Engineer is needed for an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services in the Boydton, VA area. The Construction Project Engineer optimizes industrial production by applying engineering principles to improve efficiency, ensure quality standards, and support layout and workflow planning.

salary: $66.66 - 74.72 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: Bachelors

responsibilities:
  • Analyze time, motion, methods, and speed to optimize production efficiency.

  • Interpret engineering documentation and collaborate with staff to uphold quality and reliability standards.

  • Review logs and specification sheets for compliance with quality assurance.

  • Assist in scheduling work assignments based on performance, machine capacity, and production schedules.

  • Create visual aids like charts and diagrams for workflow and layout analysis.

  • Monitor equipment use to ensure adherence to quality standards.

  • Time tasks and evaluate worker fatigue using timing devices.

  • Analyze operational data and generate reports to assess standard compliance.
Skills:

  • strong creativity and communication (verbal and written).

  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.

  • Detail-oriented and collaborative.

  • Proficiency in creating technical sketches and drawings.

  • Skilled in reading blueprints and interpreting technical documents.
