Warehouse Supervisor Job Description The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to safety and company standards. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory accuracy, and maintaining performance metrics to meet organizational goals. The position operates Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Responsibilities Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a positive team environment. Manage inventory accuracy and control techniques, including cycle counting. Ensure safety compliance and conduct safety audits, implementing corrective actions as needed. Manage space, equipment, and personnel to meet productivity goals. Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements to meet organizational objectives. Handle changing environments and multitask under pressure. Collaborate cross-functionally with departments like logistics, procurement, and customer service. Essential Skills Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong conflict resolution and employee coaching skills. Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (e.g., SAP, Oracle). In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards. Strong analytical thinking and data interpretation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with Lean principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) - APICS. Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) - APICS. Forklift Operator Certification or Material Handling Equipment Certification. First Aid/CPR Certification (for safety leadership roles). Work Environment The work environment is primarily warehouse-based with occasional office work and travel. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
