Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer position include: 2-10 years of experience with residential wood framing and construction with a strong understanding of residential framing and load paths Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) Perform structural design for residential additions, renovations, and new construction Comfortable juggling multiple projects simultaneously, typically completing projects in a day to a week Conduct 1-5 site visits per week as needed (mostly in Raleigh area) Must be proficient in AutoCAD and able to complete own drafting Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new residential project types Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
