Job Summary:
The Structural Engineer will provide engineering support to the Design and Manufacturing Engineering
Departments. This role involves analyzing product designs, ensuring structural integrity, and communicating
with various stakeholders, including other discipline Engineers, Project Managers, Production personnel, and
clients. This position requires the ability to provide structural calculations as necessary to meet fabrication
standards as well as coordinate directly with construction sites for installation recommendations (Weight
Calculations, Reactions to various site conditions, Weld Details) The ideal candidate will possess technical
skills, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of EAS product offerings.

Job Responsibilities:
Analyze product designs to evaluate structural requirements per current codes.
Provide clear direction to Structural Production Designers for necessary design alterations.
Specify lifting lug locations and types for each unit assembly.
Communicate with third-party structural engineering firms to align on structural concepts.
Evaluate structural drawings and details to confirm compliance.
Support engineering with interpreting and developing structural analysis to meet client needs.
Assist Production supervisors with structural interpretation and correction methods.
Communicate with clients on structural analysis matters.
Understand and apply relevant codes and national standards for structural design.
Interpret and verify specification requirements for structural components and design.
Provide product line support concerning structural assemblies as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
EIT, P.E. and/or S.E. or ability and motivation to achieve
Minimum of five years of applied experience in structural engineering.

Job Requirements / Special Skills:
Proficiency in Revit
Proficiency in a structural analysis program (SAP and/or Robot).
Competent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, G-Suite, Bluebeam).
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Leadership skills, coaching ability, and problem-solving skills.
Advanced understanding of product design and operations.
Ability to coordinate multiple projects, people, and functions
