Title: Senior Construction Inspector
Location: Seattle, WA

What's the Opportunity?
This position provides pivotal support to deliver complex construction projects and add value to the intended outcome. This is accomplished by blending strong technical experience, precise document control, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Fluent in all aspects of subject matter within his or her field while working fairly independently.
Responsible for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating tasks on projects.
Applies diversified knowledge of principles and practices in his or her field and is able to communicate this knowledge to others on a project team.
Makes decisions independently, while communicating with the team.
Consults with project managers concerning unusual problems and developments and makes recommendations to fix these issues.
Possesses a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning, organizing, and guiding extensive project tasks.
Coordinates, and reviews work of individuals on project teams (including technical level quality control), usually in relation to specific project tasks or phases.
Mentors staff by disseminating technical knowledge of field oversight.

Ideal candidates will have the following:
Critical thinking, excellent written and oral communication and experience with preparing daily and weekly observation reports, complex problem solving, project coordination, independence in judgment and decision making, strong quality control, and active learning.
Sufficient knowledge in the primary field of expertise to work and make decisions independently in problem solving.
Ability to work independently to obtain field information necessary to assess compliance with contract documents. Implements cost and change management methods with guidance.
