Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Signage Estimator with proficiency in ConstructConnect to review project plans and blueprints, determine the necessary signage, and provide detailed cost estimates for our company. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction estimating, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of sign installations and material costs. Additionally, this role will involve establishing relationships with general contractors and ensuring United American Signs is set up as a vendor and subcontractor for their upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret project plans and blueprints to assess signage requirements.
Work directly with general contractors to understand their signage needs and deliver accurate cost estimates.
Use ConstructConnect to access project information, collaborate on bids, and provide detailed estimates for signage.
Determine signage types (e.g., channel letters, vinyl wraps, window graphics, etc.) based on project specifications.
Create accurate and timely cost estimates for materials, labor, and installation.
Establish and maintain relationships with general contractors, helping set up United American Signs as a vendor and subcontractor for their projects.
Communicate directly with contractors, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth coordination of signage projects.
Maintain detailed records of all project estimates and changes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in signage and estimating software, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience using ConstructConnect for project management and bidding (specifically in construction and signage).
Strong knowledge of signage types, materials, and installation processes.
Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and project plans.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to provide accurate and competitive estimates.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other estimating software.
Previous experience in construction estimating or signage preferred.
Experience in building relationships with general contractors and setting up vendors/subcontractors.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the signage industry, especially in commercial or large-scale projects.
Familiarity with sign permit requirements and local codes.
Certifications or professional development courses in estimating, project management, or ConstructConnect.
