Drywall Estimator Job Description We are seeking a skilled estimator with 15 years of experience in construction estimation, specializing in metal stud framing, drywall hanging, and gypsum wallboard. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of these materials and their application in commercial and residential projects. Responsibilities Estimate costs for drywall and metal framing projects accurately and efficiently. Review project specifications and drawings to determine scope and requirements. Collaborate with project managers to ensure project estimates align with client expectations. Maintain detailed records of estimates and related documentation. Participate in bid processes and contribute to project planning and development. Essential Skills 15 years of experience in construction estimation. Proficiency in estimating metal stud framing and drywall hanging. Strong knowledge of gypsum wallboard materials and applications. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with light gauge steel trusses and insulation. Familiarity with acoustical wall panels and finishing techniques. Work Environment The role requires working in the office five days a week under the VP of estimating. The projects involve rough carpentry, general carpentry, finishing carpentry, general drywall, gypsum wallboard, metal stud framing, load-bearing metal stud systems, light gauge steel trusses, insulation, acoustical wall panels and ceilings, blocking, and sound sealants.
