Field Operations Manager

Are you a proven Field Operations Leader supporting Industrial or Solar Construction Projects? THE RIGHT STAFF is supporting a growing Renewable Energy Company that is seeking a strategic and driven Field Operations Manager to support strategic oversight of industrial solar construction projects. This will include managing project headcounts, budget, and timelines, as well as mitigating risk, implementing continuous improvement plans, and providing pro-active strategies.

Ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years of leadership experience at a similar level - including experience managing projects with budgets of $5M +, and overseeing 20+ job sites.

This role will report to the Director of Operations and work collaboratively with Internal teams supporting projects from estimating stage through project roll-out. They will oversee a team of Construction Managers (~7 Direct Reports) and indirectly have 70-80 field staff under their purview.

This role will travel 60% of the time - Company vehicle, gas card, and credit card will be provided. A valid Driver's License is required.

Candidates should be local to the Midwest area surrounding MN. The company is headquartered in the Twin-Cities metro area, and supports projects in 7 states through out the Midwest.

Minimum Requirements:
5-7 years of Industrial Field Operations Leadership experience
Experience with a similar scope of projects ($5M+ projects) and overseeing ~20 project sites.
Background in Solar, substations, large electrical, civil construction, or other industrial construction
Should have hands-on experience as a Field Manager, Superintendent or Construction Manager
Must have strong communication skills, able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
Must have experience working cross functionally with their company - partnering across departments to manage projects.
Ability to travel 60% of the time
Valid Driver's License Required

Direct-Hire
$140K-150K+ Annually
