Your Key Responsibilities
- Complete 7,000 hours between the College Program and on-the-job training (OJT) in our manufacturing facilities
- Assists with monthly preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
- Repair and troubleshoot electrical systems and update existing equipment
- Drive Technical Improvement activities as prioritized by production management and defined by Process Engineering (scrap, efficiency, utilization, quality, cost, cycle time)
- Support small step improvements related to quality, costs, logistics and motivation
- Reduce direct expenses by standardizing and optimizing tooling and machine components
- Adheres to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices including 5-S standards
- Know and understand the current specifications of the Quality Policy and Procedures, and the Safety and Environmental Policy and Procedures and contributes to the achievement of these objectives
- Successfully complete, to the Company's specification, courses of study required for the Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology
Your Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successful completion of the Compass Placement Test (required for school admission)
- Ability to move or lift 35 pounds
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
- This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
