Experienced Handyman

Randstad is hiring an experienced Handyman for a direct, full-time position with a leading service company in Brunswick. This is a stable, year-round role for a professional who takes pride in their work.

Your Role Will Include:

• Handling a wide range of repair and maintenance jobs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall.
• Working independently on-site to diagnose problems and complete projects efficiently.
• Clearly explaining the work to be done and providing excellent service to residential and commercial clients.
• Managing your time and materials to ensure jobs are completed to a high standard.

• You must have a valid driver's license.
• You need to have solid, hands-on experience in handyman or maintenance work.

salary: $35,360 - $52,000 per year

Responsibilities

General Repair & Maintenance

• Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall repair.
• Install, assemble, and repair fixtures such as lights, ceiling fans, faucets, and garbage disposals.
• Handle flooring and tile projects, including minor installations and repairs.
• Perform interior and exterior painting, staining, and touch-ups.
• Conduct general upkeep tasks like pressure washing, gutter cleaning, and deck repairs.

Job Management & Execution

• Travel to various residential and commercial sites in the Brunswick area.
• Independently diagnose issues, identify underlying problems, and determine the most effective solutions.
• Provide clients with clear explanations of the required work and offer estimates for time and materials.
• Manage job timelines and materials efficiently to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Customer Service & Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Listen attentively to customer concerns and ensure they are fully satisfied with the final result.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times, respecting the client's property.
• Communicate job progress or any unexpected issues with both the client and the office team.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used for each job.

The essential functions of this role include:
