HVAC Building Automation Technician (Union)

Honeywell International is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Building Automation Technician to join our Building Automation team in Lake Success, NY. This union position plays a key role in delivering advanced building automation solutions using Honeywell and Tridium (Niagara) platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technician with strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering high-quality automation solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS) using Honeywell and Tridium platforms Map system points, develop system graphics, and configure front-end stations Interpret and implement sequence of operations Work with protocols including BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, and HTML; Java is a plus Commission and start up BAS systems Interpret project plans, schematics, and design documents Collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure timely, successful installations The compensation range for this position is $39- $52 per hour. The actual compensation offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
