Production/Carpenter

Preferably seeking someone with finished carpentry skills, reliable, and works well in a small team. The position requires solid tools skills and experience. Training will be provided for all stages of fabrication. Prospective candidates should be safety conscious, comfortable with the use of power tools, and demonstrate an attention to detail.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

Our fabrication process involves panel design, layout, cutting, gluing, painting, taping, laminate trimming, metal fabrication, packaging, and shipping. Employee may be called upon from time to time to perform other duties that fit with in his/her skill set.

**Equipment and Tools Used**

Tools used in the fabrication process are panel saw, radial saw, table saw, power drills, routers, laminate trimmers, painting tools, glue guns, drill press, metal press, quality control testing, etc.

Door Guard is a small business proudly serving the United States of America and Greater North America with superior elevator protection.

We are a 20-year-old enterprise started by a Vietnam Veteran. We fabricate a reusable elevator cab liner to protect elevator cab interiors from damage during tenant moves in and out of office buildings and condominiums. Door Liners and Cab Liners are designed from standardized measuring templates and photos provided by the client. All products fabricated are customized to the dimensions and configurations of each individual elevator cab. Panels are designed by cutting 4'x8'x1" foam sheets to specific dimensions on a panel saw. Panels are hinged and laminated with an Acrylic/PVC veneer. All work is performed in a climate-controlled environment.
