Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator in the Commercial Construction industry. Must have general knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff Estimating Software. Project Management will be included with your winning bids.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with our internal team, customers and vendors. This role is critical in ensuring accurate project estimates and cost management for our construction projects. The Senior Estimator will play a key role in supporting our mission of delivering high-quality construction services.

*This role requires most workdays to be spent in the office with minimal time on job sites.

As Estimator, you will:

Review bid invitations, architectural drawings, specifications and client requirements to fully understand the scope of workPrepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates and bid packagesCoordinate with subcontractors and vendorsMaintain and update estimating databases, price lists and material costs regularlyDevelop strategies to increase success during the bidding processTrack awarded contracts and assist with project preplanning

Requirements:

*LOCAL(Orlando Area) CANDIDATES ONLY*2+ years of commercial construction estimating experience2+ years of meticulous attention to detailPlanSwift software experience, a plusBackground check and drug testReliable vehicle, valid driver's license, good driving recordWillingness to travel occasionally throughout FloridaStrong prioritization, computer and self-management skillsBilingualism (Spanish), a plus
