A Construction Safety Manager is needed for an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services in the Des Moines, IA area. This Construction Safety Manager is responsible for leading manufacturing teams, improving processes and product quality, resolving operational issues, managing staff performance, and maintaining detailed production records.

responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production and operations workers.
- Implement employee motivation strategies and improve methods, equipment performance, product quality, and overall efficiency.
- Review operational issues and collaborate with technical or administrative teams to resolve production problems.
- Develop and manage production tracking systems and quality control processes.
- Analyze data on production, maintenance, and quality to identify and correct problems.
- Hire, train, evaluate, and, when necessary, discharge staff, handle personnel grievances.
- Define and enforce product standards to ensure high-quality output.
- Prepare and maintain detailed production reports and personnel records.
- strong verbal communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control techniques.
- Familiarity with machinery and tools, including operation, repair, and maintenance.
- Understanding of design tools, blueprints, and technical production planning.
- High school diploma or GED required,
- Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in a production supervisory role.
