Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a Construction Safety Manager 3 to join their team. As a Construction Safety Manager 3, you will be part of the production department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Construction Safety Manager 3
Location: WDM, IA (100% onsite, local travel required)
Pay Range: $48.hr - $50.hr
What's the Job?
- Implement measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
- Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
- Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.
- Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in production management.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control techniques.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
