Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic

Manufacturing Company Located at Clearwater, FL is seeking for reliable and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring our machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently. You'll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and supporting daily operations in a fast-paced [industry, e.g., manufacturing/production/warehouse] environment.

Shifts

1st Shift- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with the potential overtime for up to 10 hours daily, as needed. (Mandatory)

2nd Shift - Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with mandatory overtime on Fridays during the same shift hours, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on mechanical equipment, machinery, and systems.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.

CANDIDATE MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN TOOLS

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance logging systems (preferred).
• Able to lift [e.g., 50 lbs] and work in a physically demanding environment.
