Refrigerant Transition & Recovery Certificate. Refrigerant Handling Certification. SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Manager - Facilities Maintenance, install, repair, and maintain heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems (HVAC&R); perform a variety of technical duties involved in the management, repair, replacement, and programming of the district's energy management system (EMS); troubleshoot issues and malfunctions of the EMS system; identify repair and/or replacement needs; assist other skilled trades; provide necessary information on the proper uses of the equipment; ensure adequate materials are available to complete assignments in a timely manner. JOB REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and three years of journey level HVAC&R experience with both central and room systems.
