Who are we looking for?

Join a global professional services leader. We are committed to solving the worlds biggest challenges in the areas of water, environment, and infrastructure. GHD is looking for an experienced Project Manager with a focus on Water/Natural Systems Restoration . This is a project-focused role responsible for the management and delivery of projects across the water market sector based out of our Seattle office.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Manage the assessment, planning, design, permitting, and construction of water, natural systems restoration, and fish passage improvement projects
  • Develop new business opportunities and client relationships with municipal agencies, special districts, tribes, and other entities within the region
  • Communicate regularly with the client, obtaining two-way feedback and input
  • Coordinate with Project Director, Business Group Leader, and staff to assemble the project team and regularly review the project
  • Develop a clear project description that defines the scope of work, manage scope, schedule, and budget
  • Deliver the project within budget and on time and to program in accordance with the work plan
  • Prepare and implement the project management plan including written briefs to team members
  • Conduct specific investigations, feasibility studies, functional and detailed designs
  • Build effective relationships with the GHD US West Water Market management team, North America and across GHDs global footprint
  • Develop, mentor, and assist staff in gaining experience and expertise in water services

What you will bring to the Team

  • Minimum Civil Engineering or related degree, Masters degree preferred
  • Registered Engineer in the State of WA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience with solid technical knowledge and skills across the water industry, including a strong background in planning, permitting, design, and implementation of natural systems restoration and fish passage improvement projects
  • Active in relevant professional associations and community organizations

Benefits:

401K - Employees are eligible to participate on the first day of the month following 3 months of service
Paid time off Our PTO benefit is designed to provide eligible employees with a period of rest and relaxation, sick, and personal time throughout the year. PTO starts at 16 days per year and increases with years of service
Holiday Pay - Holiday pay is provided for eligible employees. GHD observes 9 holidays per year. Holiday pay will be based on the regular set schedule for the employee
Wellness Benefit- Regular full-term employees are eligible to participate in the wellness reimbursement program. GHD will reimburse 50% of the cost of the following to maximum of $250.00 reimbursement annually for such items as: Health club membership fees, Home exercise equipment purchases, Bicycles, Race, run & marathon entrance fees, Smoking cessation programs, Weight loss programs (i.e.Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig), Fitbits and Fitness Tracking devices

Salary Range: 82.000 - $125,000 based on experience and location.
