Project: Denver/DEN

Location: Denver, CO

Salary Range: $85K to $100K per year

WW CLyde is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to help us oversee jobs at Denver International Airport and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily safety & health inspections and maintain written log
• Oversee any and all safety-related investigations and complete required reports
• Ensure superintendent, project management, and subcontractor compliance with safety and health requirements
• Attend all pre-construction, pre-work, and in-progress meetings
• Conduct trainings on a variety of risk management areas
• Maintain applicable safety reference material on job site
• Projects normally run 5-6 days a week requiring onsite supervision

Qualifications:

• Hold a Board of Certified Safety Professionals CSP with at least 4 years of full-time relevant construction safety and health experience; or
• Hold a Board of Certified Safety Professionals ASP, GSP, or SMS with at least 6 years of full-time relevant construction safety and health experience; or
• Hold a Board of Certified Safety Professionals CHST or OHST with at least 8 years of full-time relevant construction safety and health experience.
• Completed the OSHA 500 course for construction within the last 24 months, remaining current for the duration of the project.
• Provide proof of non-expired completion of a Red Cross or approved equal for Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, and Automated External Defibrillation (AED).
• Provide proof of completion of FMCSA compliant 2-hour drug and alcohol reasonable suspicion supervisory training.
• Excellent people, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Understanding of Owners Controlled Insurance Programs
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
