Job Purpose:
Our Corrugated Display Structural Designer will be responsible for designing structural displays made from corrugated materials, with a focus on retail environments, point-of-purchase (POP) displays, and product packaging. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales and production, to create functional, visually appealing, and cost-effective display solutions that enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and design corrugated displays and packaging solutions for retail and promotional purposes.
Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks) to create detailed drawings and prototypes for client approval.
Work closely with the Sales team to ensure designs align with branding and campaign objectives.
Coordinate with the Production team to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet cost, machine and material constraints.
Research and recommend appropriate materials (corrugated board types, coatings, inks) for each display, balancing performance and cost.
Prepare and present design proposals, including budget and timeline estimates.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded.
Ensure all designs meet industry standards, compliance regulations, and safety guidelines.
Work with Manufacturing and Quality Control teams to ensure the final product matches design specifications.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Packaging Design or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Strong understanding of retail display trends and consumer behavior.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with 3D rendering or visualization software. Rino or SketchUp a plus
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in packaging and display design.
Work Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in structural design, particularly in corrugated displays, retail packaging, or a related field.
- Experience with CAD software, such as AutoCAD, ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of corrugated materials, die-cutting, and print production processes.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree - Industrial Design or Packaging Design Preferred
Work Experience:
5-10 years of related job experience.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Software program experience with SolidWorks, ArtiosCAD, TOPS and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Pro).
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required.
The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
