As a Welder Foreman, you will lead a crew of skilled welders on diverse projects ranging from commercial buildings to intricate handrails, offering a fantastic opportunity to grow in a leadership position. Responsibilities Lead and manage a crew of welders, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Coordinate with permanent employees to achieve project goals. Oversee projects involving structural and miscellaneous steel. Read and interpret blueprints for project layout and execution. Inspect welding work for adherence to safety and quality standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Essential Skills 8-10 years of experience in Structural and/or Miscellaneous Steel Welding. Proficiency in MIG, Stick, and Flux Core welding techniques. Blueprint reading and interpretation skills. Ability to layout according to blueprints. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Valid Driver's License. Additional Skills & Qualifications OSHA 10 certification is mandatory; OSHA 30 is a plus. Experience in steel rigging and erection. Certifications in all forms for stick and MIG welding. Experience as an Ironworker. General knowledge of industry practices and how pieces work together. Why Work Here?
