WELDER Monday - Friday 6:00 am - until job complete $17.00 - $20.00 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Operate MIG, TIG, and stick welding equipment to assemble and repair metal componentsRead and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders with minimal supervisionLayout, fit-up, and weld materials accurately and independentlySet up and operate Auto Saw for material layoutFabricate, fit, and weld with extreme accuracyConduct quality inspections of finished welds to ensure compliance with safety and quality standardsUse and read a tape measure to 1/32 inch; convert decimals to fractions; read prints and specificationsPerform welding layout using basic hand toolsUtilize cranes to move heavy materials as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety protocolsCollaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve welding techniquesWilling to learn and assist in manual lathe machining processes as needed JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum 2 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentProficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques and equipmentAbility to pass a 1G certificationStrong blueprint reading skills with the ability to work independentlyHigh accuracy in layout, fitting, and welding tasksExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to perform quality checks and follow strict safety standardsHigh school diploma or equivalent required
