Responsibilities

Conduct and lead planning and coordination meetings to gather information for planning and monitoring functions.

Ensure effective application of policies and procedures, including project planning/scheduling and reporting requirements.

Collect/report progress, evaluate variances, develop work-around plans, and coordinate resolution of variances.

Conduct manpower/materials commodities loading/resource/tracking analysis and progress curves with the team.

Produce reports and presentations to support project needs and management reporting.

Assist in preparing schedule reporting specifications for contract bid packages and determine Schedule Milestones and/or Key Dates for oversight by Project Team members.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of engineering/construction planning and scheduling and/or themed entertainment planning/coordination experience, including:

Critical Path Method scheduling experience utilizing scheduling software.

Construction, production, and/or design experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Graphical program working knowledge and ability to provide visual presentations.

Basic understanding of design and construction progress measurement, including earned value measurement.

Work experience in industries such as Theme Parks, Cruise Lines, Major Resorts, or show/ride product lines.

Required Education

BS degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent.

Additional Information

Location: Orlando, Florida onsite 5 days per week.

Must have facility construction experience and experience with large general contractors (hotels, shopping centers).

Pull planning experience.

Proficient in P6 is important.

Experience in integrating different scopes.

Engineering or facility design experience is important.

Themed entertainment and show installation experience is important.

Duration: 0-36 month(s).

Description/Comment

Under general guidance, perform all primary duties of an Associate Project Planner/Scheduler, and additionally:

Develop and maintain project life cycle and project integrated schedules using Primavera.

Prepare project plans and work with scoping/strategy documents to develop integrated project master schedules.

Coordinate with project teams and disciplines to develop an appropriate level of detail for schedule activity definition to support project monitoring and reporting needs.
