Apprentice Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Electrician to join our team for construction projects located in Savannah, Georgia. This role involves assisting the lead electrician with the installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring all work adheres to relevant codes. Work requires the technical application of electrical principles using appropriate equipment and safety practices. Responsibilities Assist lead electrician with installing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure all work is in accordance with relevant codes. Perform rough-ins and finals installation of conduit and MC Cable. Install electrical panels, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and wiring in equipment. Conduct start-up and energizing procedures of equipment. Work on fire systems. Focus work in common areas such as main floor, basement work areas, hallways, stairwells, restaurant, and rooftop bar. Essential Skills Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial electrical work or electrical training (i.e. technical school certification) Experience with rough-ins and finals installation of conduit and MC Cable. Proficiency in installing electrical panels, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and wiring. Knowledge of start-up and energizing procedures for equipment. Ability to work on fire systems.
