Fast-paced local office of an international franchise has an opening for a Skilled Carpenter . Our customers love us! With over 50% of our business coming from repeat and referral customers, Handyman Connection of Eden Prairie is growing, and were seeking skilled professionals to join our team. We are a locally owned and operated, well-established home improvement company dedicated to excellent customer service and quality workmanship.

What You Will Receive

• $35-$55 an hour competitive pay based on your skills and experience ( paid by the job, not by the hour )
• 1099 independent contractor position enjoy the flexibility of setting your own schedule and being your own boss

Job Summary

• Cut, shape, and install building materials during construction, remodeling, or repair in residential and light commercial settings
• Work with fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard
• Accurately determine and identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
• Evaluate customer requests, troubleshoot issues, and problem-solve to find solutions
• Complete a variety of repairs and replacements to windows, doors, siding, finish trim, flooring, framing, decking, and more

Job Requirements

• Competency in general building trades
• Minnesota drivers license and insurance
• Your own tools, vehicle (truck or work van), and references
• Workers compensation insurance
• Smartphone and Internet access
• Ability to complete projects from start to finish independently

At Handyman Connection of Eden Prairie , we are looking for skilled professionals in Minneapolis who have experience as a Remodeler, Carpenter, Painter, or Installer or any other skilled tradesperson (apprentice, journeyman, or master level) from the residential or commercial construction industry.
